The RiseUp Project |
The RiseUp Project began in 2006 when Mr. Gold, a 5th grade teacher in the NYC Public Schools, made a commitment to address both his students' and his own thirst for a more modern, engaging, and inspiring method of teaching and learning.
The RiseUp Project's goal is to contribute to the evolution and modernization of education by motivating teachers and students alike to RiseUp into an exciting new world of teaching and learning. We seek to soar to new heights in our classroom through the integration of technology into the everyday life of the classroom.
Now Mr. Gold's 5th grade classroom is in the Springfield, Massachusetts Public Schools where RiseUp continues to grow. Our class works with an even greater passion to utilize technology and the web. We are committed to bringing the whole world's community into the fabric of our learning and to contribute as citizens through our commitment to learn.
